Services Canceled until further notice

In light of our current situation, churches canceling and this fear over the Coronavirus- we want everyone to stay safe and stay home this week. We also want everyone to remember that in this season on uncertainty, we can be certain that God is in control. Everything going on is no surprise to Him. #Godisincontrol

Let's be reminded of what we can do as believers to live out our faith when we consider Philippians 4:6-7:

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

The choice to close Stony Point was one made from a position of faith and was made after much prayer and consideration. We didn't make this choice out of fear. Our responsibility to the congregation and the families that attend, were major factors in the decision to close. #faithoverfear

How do I stay connected with the Kids Ministry and the sermons from Pastor Dave?

Great question! Be sure you have access to a social media platform of some kind! We will do our best to make sermons, resources, and new information available to everyone through these different options and also by emailing with links to these options. The new Kids Ministry website will be updated with weekly bible lessons for Pre-school through fifth grade. Middle and High School students are encouraged to watch the weekly sermons. If you are a parent of a Pre-K through fifth grade child and would like an activity brought/mailed to you, please email stonypointkidsmin@gmail.com and I'll ensure you get your activity (while supplies last).

Other important info: *The Preschool Basket Bonanza has been postponed. We will let you know when a new date is set. *The 5th Sunday Potluck Dinner has been cancelled. * Fiber Arts group will not be meeting. * Disability Bunko will probably not meet April 4th. (Check with Trudy for more info) If you have a question about whether a group is meeting, please contact the head of that group.
